Scott graduated from St. John’s School of Law in 2014 with a Juris Doctorate degree, after earning his Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics, and Philosophy from St. John’s University in 2011. During Law school, Scott interned in a mass torts firm, and continued to work there as an Associate after his graduation.
Scott joined the Buttafuoco firm as an Associate in 2015. Throughout his work here, he has handled personal injury cases, including motor vehicle and premises liability. He has experience in dealing with and preparing cases throughout the entire litigation process in anticipation of trial, as well as settling those cases. He has drafted pleadings and both procedural and substantive motions in diverse areas including Bankruptcy, Labor Law, premises liability, and motor vehicle law. Scott has taken a number of depositions, appeared in court for conferences and motion arguments, participated in arbitrations, and conducted jury selection. He has appeared in Federal Court, as well as argued an appeal in front of the Appellate Division First Department.
Scott is admitted to practice in NY, as well as multiple Federal courts. He is an active member of the New York State Bar Association.
